Teladoc Health Brand Site

I designed the Teladoc Health brand site, the design system that defines how the brand looks and sounds: who we are, tone and voice, logo and color.

It replaced the earlier Creative Expression guide with a brighter palette, a serif display face and a modular shape system that works from guidelines all the way to product pages.

Before and after: the earlier Creative Expression guide is on the left and the new Teladoc Health brand site is on the right.

A single messaging overview grew into two pages. Who we are covers the mission, vision and values, and Tone and voice defines the brand personality, with "show, don't tell" guidance and a before-and-after copy example.

The logo page covers the primary and tagline lockups, partner co-branding, configurations and misuse, so internal teams and partners can apply the mark correctly.

The color page sets a clear hierarchy of primary and accent colors, introduces the core shape system and shows how color is used on consumer-facing assets.

Teladoc Health Web Design System

Teladoc Health's rapid growth and acquisitions had left web, print and product with different looks. Working with developers, we built a web design system for AEM: typography, color, iconography, grid, spacing, radius, shadows, button behavior and components.

Designers can now build pages that look exactly like the final build, and stakeholders know what they're approving.

Teladoc Health Product Pages

With the system in place, I designed product landing pages for the Teladoc Health diabetes programs, turning the guidelines into pages that explain the benefit and get members to enroll.

The connected meter program: unlimited strips and lancets, real-time support for out-of-range readings and the meter-to-app experience.

Primary360 pages in the earlier brand

Where it started: the Primary360 launch page, which I designed and coded in the earlier brand.

The new pages bring in the system's editorial serif headlines, circular photo crops, brand shape clusters and product UI shown in context, while keeping the messaging plain and reassuring for people managing a health condition.

Virtual Assistant Ellie

I worked on the user interface and user experience proposal for Ellie, the Intouch Health virtual assistant, as it transitioned to the Teladoc Health brand.

I used brand components to create a virtual persona that communicates calm, in an interface that's easy to use for patients of all ages, keeping in mind how stressful these situations can be.

Ellie's different states respond to the user, so it's easy to communicate with her and understand how she works.

I presented the interface to stakeholders with motion studies of the virtual assistant, how it would look in the product, and an example of one of its options: meditation.
